RESTAURANT REVIEW: Marianna Ristorante in Downtown Renton

“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.”

Marianna Ristorante is a hidden gem in downtown Renton. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the stucco walls, terra cotta floors, white tablecloths, and low lighting. It’s a great place for a dinner for two, or a large party. Even when they are packed, it is not too loud to talk.

Marianna Ristorante is open for lunch and dinner. They have a large selection of wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, and the menu includes many Italian favorites, such as Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese, Penne Vodka, Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara, Cesar salad, Pear and Gorgonzola salad, several soups, and desserts.

My favorite dish is Rigatoni con Salciccia which contains Rigatoni, Italian Sausage, Caramelized Red Onions, and Sweet Pea. They have some vegetarian options as well.

If you also want to be entertained, I recommend asking to sit in Christian’s section. He is a really exuberant guy, who obviously enjoys his job and likes to have fun with his customers. He just makes the experience so much fun!

Marianna Ristorante takes reservations, which I recommend if you are going on Friday or Saturday nights. They almost always have seating in the bar if you walk in and they don’t have a table for you.

There’s street parking, but downtown Renton parking fills up on the weekends, so allow time to look for parking.

If you’re looking for a delicious Italian dining experience, I recommend checking out Marianna Ristorante.
