RESTAURANT REVIEW: The Lemongrass in Renton

Having grown tired of some of the take-out we’ve been ordering since the March COVID-19 shutdown, Alan and I decided to try something new.

We discovered The Lemongrass in Renton—a local Vietnamese chain serving traditional dishes and vegetarian options in a casual, stylish space and were impressed by their huge menu, although somewhat reluctant to try it due to the low reviews. Nonetheless, we decided to give it a try.

We both ordered the Grilled Pork Noodles. The food arrived hot and on-time and I can safely say that this was one of the best vermicelli bowls that I have ever had.

Since then, I have had the chicken vermicelli bowl, lemongrass rolls, Chili paste pork and tofu, and sweet and sour chicken. The dishes were all delicious and traveled well. I can’t wait to try more items on their menu and look forward to eating in their dining room someday.

If you find yourself wondering what’s for dinner and don’t feel like cooking, I recommend giving The Lemongrass a try. Order online at Grubhub/Lemongrass.
