The atmosphere is festive and lively at Bang Bang Kitchen where they serve New Mexican and Southwest food.

Bang Bang has two locations; Bang Bang Café in Belltown (2460 Western Ave.) and Bang Bang Kitchen in Othello which is the only one I have tried so far.

Albuquerque natives Miki and Yuki Sodos also own Cafe Pettirosso on Capitol Hill.

What Challenges Sellers May Face in 2020

According to agents in HomeLight’s quarter four survey, sentiment is somewhat split on an upcoming recession—something that would absolutely affect home sales. About 36 percent of agents surveyed expect we will see the economy drop by the end of 2021, but 12 percent think that it’s going to hit by the end of 2020.

Sellers aren’t super concerned though; agents note that about 70 percent of them never even bring up the idea of a recession. But regardless of an incoming recession or not, selling your home will pose some unique issues in the next year. Here’s what to expect as the most difficult hurdles you’ll need to overcome.

Accessories are important to a room and houseplants are considered one of them. Have you noticed lately how popular having plants has become? Almost every decor magazine and Instagram photo has a plant. I love how a plant just makes the space feel more like home and adds such a nice pop of green. Below are some tips on bringing plants and or green into the home.

Is it okay to mix fresh and faux houseplants?
YES! Don’t feel intimidated if you don’t have a green thumb and every plant you have ever had dies, there are many ways to add fresh plants without having to go take a horticulture class. Keep reading for more ideas on becoming a green thumb.

Long-lasting and Hard-to-Kill Plants
Here are some ideas for long lasting/hardy house plants; succulents, orchids, ferns, philodendron, orchids and air plants. Check with your local florist or plant store and they can guide you to what will work for you. Start with just a couple and as you ease yourself into plant ownership and care you can add more.
